Hurricane Katrina Disaster Response



Katrina Aftermath USGS EROS is supporting first responders and emergency services working in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Within hours of Katrina’s disastrous landfall on the Gulf Coast, EROS began channeling vital imagery to state and local governments, FEMA and other federal agencies—providing views of the devastated area, which helped prioritize the relief efforts. more..
