same area when a massive storm makes landfall. Years after Hurricane Katrina,
Landsat still captured swollen lakes, new waterways, and submerged marshes.
After the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, Landsat’s infrared imaging tracked impacts to
the aboveground vegetation health in Louisiana’s salt marshes.
