US Topo is the new generation of digital topographic map series from the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). Arranged in the traditional 7.5-minute quadrangle format, US Topo maps allow faster and wider public distribution along with basic, on-screen geographic analysis for all users. US Topo maps use U.S. Department of Agriculture 1-meter ground resolution orthoimagery from the National Agriculture Imagery Program (NAIP). The NAIP orthoimagry layer provides a nationally consistent geographic visual context to the symbolized layers of the map. US Topo maps are available for free download as a GeoPDF from the USGS Map Locator and currently cover the entire continental U.S.
