Landscape Characterization of Southwest Wyoming

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on

This effort characterized the different types of landscapes across southwest Wyoming.  Land cover and land use features from multiple sources were integrated to provide a contemporary representation of landscape composition and configuration.  National Agriculture Imagery Program (NAIP) imagery from 2009 and 2012 was used to verify and correct land use features derived from national data sources and to convert point information (e.g., surface mine locations) to polygonal representation of surface disturbance.
